Candy Corn Trinity
The word 'trinity' does not appear in the Bible, however, it is definitely an important Biblical principal (or doctrine) that seeks to describe the nature of our amazing God. This trinity concept is derived from God's Word.
God is three persons.
Each person is divine.
There is only one God.
It is a difficult theological truth to understand at any age. Using examples from our lives often helps us to understand spiritual truths. Jesus used the Parables.St. Patrick used the shamrock to illustrate how 3 parts (leaves) made 1 whole (shamrock). Candy corn can also illustrate this, 3 colors, 1 candy.

I always like to open my Bible with my students and read with them and encourage them to reflect on the verses and answer the question: What is God letting us know about Himself through these words?
Here are a few scripture verses you might want to use:
2 Corinthians 13:14. 'The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all."
I Peter 1:2, "According to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in fullest measure."
Jude 20-21 'But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith; praying in the Holy Spirit; Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of out Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life."
I hope you and your students are blessed by this little craft.
